I have been living in Portland, Oregon and photographing professionally for nearly 4 years.
Although I strive to create photography that is diverse and fresh in subject matter, my first love will always be nature.
As long as I can remember, road trips have always been something I look forward to and several ventures across the expanse of the United States have not only allowed me unbridled freedom to document my experiences, but also time to learn the intricacies of my craft.
After years of struggling to find my creative voice, I found a profound sense of inspiration when I met my husband, a fellow photography fanatic who encouraged me to explore the big and small, the new and dilapidated, the inhabited and the vacant... all the while toting cameras.
I came to realize that photography is closer to my heart than I ever would have thought. It is my art and my passion. When I am behind the camera, I experience a perspective that might otherwise be unavailable to the naked eye alone and I have only one task:
To capture the moment and hold it forever as a beautiful and tangible image.
